Squeamishness, I think. To be fair, what Barty has them doing at present--while necessary of course--is hardly the most glamourous of jobs. It's less perplexing than Runge going over, that's for certain.
Are you afraid we won't take good care of Freddie if he joins? I don't think you've much to worry about. It's a different sort of circle we're building, after all. Karo's even courting her old school chum, Clearwater. There's a boring chit if ever there was one, but she might get on well with the new order.
Nothing much perplexes me anymore. Lady Lestrange's own daughter threw in with them, and ages ago, from the looks of it.
Yet Runge's timing couldn't be much worse, could it?
Not worried for anyone but Freddie himself. He's good when he applies himself, but he's not any kind of natural, is he?
Clearwater, she was attached to Weasley, right? The one who worked for Malfoy. Suppose that means you're not looking to invite her to a special supper, then? Go that route, and you'll end up actually getting some sleep.
Lestrange v.2, from what I hear, was motivated by her own carnal desires. Mummy wouldn't let her have the boy she wanted. Runge has no mistress, as far as I've found out.
Freddie just needs to find his niche. Like your Irish lad. Still moping for his little girlfriend.
Anyway, no, Morgana defend if I ever took that slag into bed. Good enough for the likes of Weasley but if she joins, it will only be for the sort of grunt work no one else cares to do!
Is Karo really keen on Clearwater? Or is she that type of friend that one feels obligated to keep around, precisely for her willingness to do grunt work?
I'm asking Ireland if he knows anyone who'll want to join. Somehow, I doubt that he does.
