Private message to Ptolemy
Date: 2015-05-26 03:11 am (UTC)Personally, I'm not sure he's ready, but then I'm not sure we're in any position to sit back and wait, are we?
Specially as it seems some enforcers are throwing themselves at the other side, which I'm sure you've heard.
What the fuck's that about?
Private message to Freddie
Date: 2015-05-26 03:13 am (UTC)Don't make it look like you're in this for glory, yeah?
It's hard work, and it's not going to be all fun and games, despite whatever you've heard about goings-on at Buckingham.
Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 03:16 am (UTC)She's not into you, I think.
Unless you're still trying to bring her in for Lady Lestrange?
Re: Private message to Ptolemy
Date: 2015-05-26 03:16 am (UTC)Are you afraid we won't take good care of Freddie if he joins? I don't think you've much to worry about. It's a different sort of circle we're building, after all. Karo's even courting her old school chum, Clearwater. There's a boring chit if ever there was one, but she might get on well with the new order.
Re: Private message to Ptolemy
Date: 2015-05-26 03:21 am (UTC)Yet Runge's timing couldn't be much worse, could it?
Not worried for anyone but Freddie himself. He's good when he applies himself, but he's not any kind of natural, is he?
Clearwater, she was attached to Weasley, right? The one who worked for Malfoy. Suppose that means you're not looking to invite her to a special supper, then? Go that route, and you'll end up actually getting some sleep.
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 03:27 am (UTC)I don't think she's coming back. She hasn't even written back to me since two days after the battle.
Re: Private message to Ptolemy
Date: 2015-05-26 03:29 am (UTC)Freddie just needs to find his niche. Like your Irish lad. Still moping for his little girlfriend.
Anyway, no, Morgana defend if I ever took that slag into bed. Good enough for the likes of Weasley but if she joins, it will only be for the sort of grunt work no one else cares to do!
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 03:35 am (UTC)Course she's not coming back. Even if she did, I'm not sure Lady Lestrange would have her at this point.
Don't know if you heard, but some of the enforcers have left our numbers. Balked at some very simple work, in fact--retiring the sleepers.
You have any mates back at the castle who might be itching to get out and throw in their wand?
Re: Private message to Ptolemy
Date: 2015-05-26 03:46 am (UTC)'Course, I was that age, once. So never-mind.
Is Karo really keen on Clearwater? Or is she that type of friend that one feels obligated to keep around, precisely for her willingness to do grunt work?
I'm asking Ireland if he knows anyone who'll want to join. Somehow, I doubt that he does.
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 03:49 am (UTC)The year ahead of me, though, there's Cormac McLaggen, I knew him a bit since he was in my House. And two years ahead there's Geoff Hooper. In Cormac's year there's also Troy Derwent and Lares Tamblyn, but I didn't know them all that well.

Date: 2015-05-26 03:49 am (UTC)Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 03:55 am (UTC)Me, personally? No clue. Someone is probably keeping tabs on those things.
Seriously, though. Patil wasn't your only mate, was she? What about that Jugson kid? He's Lestrange's daughter's cousin. He's not a traitor like her, is he?
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:03 am (UTC)No, he's not a traitor.
I don'tHe isn't still at the castle, is he? I mean -- here's the thing, loads of people got hurt, whether they were fighting for the traitors or not. There wasn't anywhere to go. That was how Padma got left behind. If they've got him prisoner -- Remy's not much of a fighter.
You really thinkRe: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:13 am (UTC)Look, I might as well be direct. I'm asking about your mates because you're loads better in a duel than I expected. You were almost as challenging as Evan, and he's the one in my sett I prefer to train with. Annoying div, but he's more solid than Singh or Willet. I reckon it's cos your lot got years with Raz Lestrange and Antonin Dolohov training you up. And then the Lestrange girl, she practically had an intensive with Crouch.
Do you know how coveted that is?
Guess I was hoping she might have taught her cousin a thing or two. But if he's loyal I suppose she'd not have bothered.
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:21 am (UTC)Okay, well, he's not a bad fighter, honestly. The best in his year was Hydra, the best in my year was Finch-Fletchley.
I don't know if she ever trained Remy. Probably a bit, honestly.
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:25 am (UTC)And in that case, just having lessons together with her might have taught him a thing or two.
Might be worth it to reach out, see if he's up for a sweet reunion.

Date: 2015-05-26 04:31 am (UTC)Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:35 am (UTC)You fancy the idea?
Don't do it unless you think he might say yes, and you think there's merit in it.
Sometimes I get a million ideas at once, you know?
Lucky I'm not a Gryffindor, or I might try to actually execute them all at once, too.
Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 04:40 am (UTC)I'll think about it, I guess.

Date: 2015-05-26 04:44 am (UTC)We don't need any others prone to cold feet, do we?
Sparring--excited to show off again, Ireland?

Date: 2015-05-26 04:58 am (UTC)I've been thinking about the traitors, though. I might be able to get some of them to talk back to me, or read the things I say. Push them to do something stupid. Draco Malfoy -- Harry was his best friend.
I know how it feels to loseNot only that, he actually cast Bellatrix Lestrange's curse on Harry. I don't know if I could get him to write back to me but it might be worth a try?Re: Private message to Seamus Finnigan
Date: 2015-05-26 05:04 am (UTC)I mean, I saw where Malfoy was claiming he killed the Lord Protector single-handedly, but I didn't really look into what he meant by that.
I've seen what that curse does. Have you?

Date: 2015-05-26 05:07 am (UTC)Anyway, not a bad idea, Ireland.
All right, I'm off to see Sarah now.
Find me tomorrow?
