Has anyone approached Rich and Lizzie Vaisey yet? I haven't seen either of them since the wedding, but the infant should be less of a handful by now, surely?

What of the Zabini kid? Has he been seen or heard from since Hogwarts?

And you should know that there's a major recruitment play underway. Any pureblood (or not-quite pureblood) with vague connections to the old MLE is being drawn in, the younger and thirstier the better. All those sods who were in the council challenge last year, for instance--the ones not already working for you, that is.

Possibly you are wondering why anyone would willingly hop on broom?

I'm not surprised they have backup assets, and I'm sure she's prioritising paying the Aurors and Enforcers. Do you know whether she's paying camp guards and administrators? Not to mention the rest of the Ministry. I doubt Rookwood would notice whether he's still drawing a salary or not, but his subordinates might.

I assume Bellatrix isn't doing the recruiting herself. Is she sending you out recruiting? Ptolemy? I'd probably send Virgil Crispin, in her shoes.

I wish we could send Daphne -- she was brilliant at this sort of thing.
